3 Person Bobsled
Three Person Bobsled
Toboggans and Bobsleds were developed from sleds of ancient times, when animal skin was stretch between strips of wood that acted as runners. To gain more speed, the toboggan was mounted on sled-like runners. Revisions in design and specially designed courses were needed.
Bobsleds require at least 1 driver and 1 brake person. Bobsledding became an Olympic sport in 1924 at the First Winter Games in Chamonix, France.
