Octopus is a tag game where one person is ‘it’. “It” calls out octopus & the other players try to run past him. Any players that get tagged become seaweed & have to sit on the ground where they were tagged. ‘It’ calls out octopus again and the players run back the other way. Any players touched by the octopus or by the seaweed are caught, and have to sit on the ground and become seaweed as well. The game continues until all but 1 player is caught. The last player gets to be the octopus next game.
