Pizza Sauce Recipe
1 can diced tomatoes
¼ cup olive oil
2 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
½ tsp. salt
¾ tsp. dried oregano flakes
pinch of pepper (or to taste)
1 clove fresh garlic minced
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. There is enough to make two large rectangular pizzas or four round individual ones. Do not cook the sauce. Spread on pizza dough already shaped on the pan. Add any toppings that you like. Bake at 420F for 12-13 minutes or until bottom of pizza crust is golden brown.
Most Italian bakeries sell white or whole wheat dough to make your own pizzas.
