Simple Salsa
4 ripe tomatoes, seeded & finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 minced jalpeno pepper (optional)
1 tbsp mild green chillies, chopped
½ medium red onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1-2 tbsp fresh lime juice (use lemon if you don’t have lime)
1/8 tsp ground cumin
½ tsp sea salt
Make 1 hour ahead of time.
Stir all ingredients together in a bowl.
Makes 2 cups.
