Synchronized Skating
Synchronized Figure Skating
Synchronized skating is a team sport where 8-20 skaters perform a routine on the ice together. Teams are judged by how well they work together, their speed, step sequences, formations and how challenging the routine is. Each skater on the team must be highly skilled, since they must all be able to do a variety of difficult elements. The elements include lines, circles, wheels, intersections, spins, pair moves, and more. The judging system is the same as for singles, dance, and pairs skating.
