Celebrations in February
In February, people in Venezuela have a festival they celebrate in the small town called Yare. The festival is called the Devils of Yare and celebrates with costumes, dancing and music using only drums.
Carnival is the most famous holiday in Brazil and it lasts for 4 days and 4 nights. Carnival starts on a Saturday and finishes on a Thursday, and there are lots of parties and parades during that time, with people wearing costumes and masks.It starts on Saturday and finishes on a Thursday. People put on their costumes and go out into the streets or to clubs.
