Celebrations in July
July 1st is Canada Day. On July 1, 1867, the British North American Act created the One Dominion under the name of Canada and the Canadian federal government.
July 4th. Independence from England was declared by the United States of America on July 4th, 1776. Every 4th of July, barbeques and fireworks are made to celebrate American independence Day in the U.S.
July 7th is Tanabata day in Japan. Tanabata is a Japanese tradition with festivals, light lanters andwrite their wishes on small, colourful pieces of paper called tanzaku, which they hang from bamboo trees outside their homes.
