This girl, Laura Watson, was 7 at the time this video was filmed.
She is from Nova Scotia, Canada and still plays.
The fiddle became popular in the movie Fiddler on the Roof. This video shows that 7 year old kids can already be great musicians. Maybe Laura will do a Musical on Broadway one day. As Tevye would sing, " If I were a rich man" so Laura can sing "If I were a rich 7 year old fiddler!". Thank you for the inspiration and keep on playing.
