Power Tumbling
Power Tumbling
Power tumbling dates back to 1886, and was originally performed on simple mats. Today, the special floor is made of fibreglass rods and has an elevated spring runway.
Power tumbling is done on a special track, which is an elevated spring runway. This helps athletes gain speed and height to do difficult and complex acrobatic and tumbling tricks. It also reduces the impact on the joints, bones and muscles, minimizing wear and tear on the athlete.
