Some of these tricks are cool and others plain silly. Many diving tricks here were inspired by ski tricks. Most of the time you get a good running start and jump off of the board. You can do different types of dives like can openers, swan dives and various versions of front and back flips - or even doubles or triples.
One of the most famous diving board tricks off of a diving board was made popular in the movie Back to School with Rodney Dangerfield. The dive was called "The Triple Lindy" and involved three high diving boards. Don't try this at home!
