Rhythmic Gymnastics Olympics 2008
Rhythmic gymnastic competitions include the Olympics, the World Championships and the Grand Prix Tournaments. Junior gymnasts are under 16 years of age, and senior are women 16 and over.
Rythmic gymnastics is performed to music. The first competitions were held in the Soviet Union (Russia) in the 1940’s. Russian teams have won the gold medal at the last 3 Olympics.
