Shaun Roger White was born on September 3, 1986, in Carlsbad, California. At 5 years old, Shaun was diagnosed with a heart condition and had to have 2 surgeries.
He grew up with his parents, sister, and older brother Jesse. Shaun would tag along with Jesse to snowboard at Mammoth Mountain and Big Bear, and go skateboarding.
Snowboarding has become more popular over the last decade and young people continue to split their excitement between skiing and snowboarding.
