Snow and Ice Festival
Snow and Ice Festival
Harbin is located in northeast China, below Siberia and east of Mongolia. Every year they hold an ice festival. The temperatures go from -2F in the day to -19F at night. The ice sculptures look very different in the day. At night, everything is lit up and very colourful.
Ice sculptures can be seen in many parts of the world. Chefs on cruise ships love to create ice sculptures as part of a special display. It takes alot of skill to make the ice sculpture perfect and they are amazing to see - as long as the weather remains cold enough.
