Bollywood is actually Hindi cinema originating in India, though not all cinema in India is Bollywood.
Dance in Bollywood is like Indian folk dancing and some of these routines were made popular in Indian film. Sometimes a random actress will appear in an Indian film that is very skilled in dance and sometimes song, and perform a dance in the middle of film almost unrelated to the plotline.
