Cheerleading is not just a girl sport anymore.  Modern cheerleading incorporates acrobatics, strength and even martial arts.  People that put down cheerleading often think that it is the simple cheer-calling, pom pom waiving, sideline activity of the past.

Coach Don shows us how to safely spot a back walkover. If you are learning how to do your back walkover or back handspring, you should have someone to help spot you so you do not get injured.

Cheerleading now takes center stage and keeps growing in popularity.  It takes flexibility, physical strength and stamina to be a good cheerleader.  Watch this co-ed group that took the world championships for their division.
